Brooks Cove Farms is located in the mountains of Western North Carolina. We provide beef from Black Angus/Hereford cattle that are bred, born and raised using humane practices in our quiet, beautiful pastures. They are grass fed with a weekly supplement of brewers grain provided by local breweries in Asheville. This is an excellent supplement, high in protein. minerals and vitamins, that allows for some fat content (marbeling) of the meat. Absolutely no antibiotics, hormones or other modifiers are given to our beef cattle. Calves are typically processed at 16-20 months of age, providing a tender finished product.
