Fill your freezer with locally grown, pasture raised, grain finished beef! Our beef is dry aged for 21 days, flash frozen, and all cuts are packaged in individual vacuum seal packs. You get to choose your cut preferences and steak thickness! Our beef is USDA inspected at the processor. Half cow pricing: $6.75/lb hanging weight (includes slaughter fees) A $500 deposit is required for a half cow. Once we get the hanging weight lbs from the slaughterhouse after harvest, Ashley will contact you to let you know the total. Your deposit will be subtracted from that total. Final payment is due prior to meat pick up. Pricing is determined by hanging weight, which varies between animals. Typically, our hanging weights for a whole cow will be between 550-700 lbs. We will notify you of the weight of your half. Final pounds of packaged meat is roughly 65% of this hanging weight- but please remember each animal dresses out differently and there is no way to determine exact pounds of meat. We will be taking the cow to the processor on August 13th- you can expect the beef to be ready for pick up about 30 days after this date. Pickup will be at Flower's Slaughterhouse in Sims, NC (unless discussed otherwise with Ashley). Shipping is not available for bulk beef orders. You can expect to pay around $2,000-2,300 for a half.
