Papa Toad Hollow is a family farm established in the spring of 2025 on a 13-acre agricultural parcel of Kernersville off of South Main Street. We raise a small, pastured herd of Romney sheep guarded by a pair of Jerusalem donkeys, a flock of 20-30 laying hens, ~50 seasonal meat chickens, Nigerian dwarf and Nubian goats, and a hive of honeybees. We are committed to conserving the 10 forested acres of the property and stewarding the productivity of the cleared acreage. Some of our sustainable practice includes rainwater catchment for garden irrigation and animal watering, rotational grazing for ruminants, and free forage access for the chickens. We are actively sourcing certified organic and local grains for all of our feed needs, no-spray or second cutting hay, and aspire to add a milk cow to our herd.
