We offer free graze grass-fed beef either Angus, Angus sired or Hereford, for sale by the whole cow, 1/2 cow or 1/4 cow. We will post a market date on what we will have available and it will be on a first come first serve basis. The price will be per pound and will vary depending upon market cost at the time of slaughter. Currently, it is $8.50a lb hanging weight. We require a non refundable deposit of $250 to reserve and guarantee your spot(will be deducted from final cost). The remaining balance will be due upon pickup of beef. The cost of $8.50lb includes processing, slaughter fee, packing and boxing fees plus butcher services tax and fees. The hanging weight is the weight of the carcass, before it is processed into individual cuts. Your take-home weight of meat will be approximately 70% of the hanging weight depending on the amount of fluid loss in the dry-aging process, the deboning, the cuts and fat removal.The meat will come vacuumsealed, labeled and frozen.
